Life can be so crazy, but we always make the time to celebrate amazing moments in our lives. That’s the point of it all, right?
Not long ago, one of our very dear friends got married and we were invited to brunch to meet her husband (who is truly delightful!). Of course with such a wonderful step in her life, we wanted to get a nice flower arrangement for her as a congratulatory gift. By the grace of Google, we stumbled across a lovely flower shop in Chicago called A New Leaf.
There are three locations in Chicago for this awesome shop. We visited the shop located at 1645 N. Wells Street and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The shop is much larger inside and you’re greeted with the fresh aroma of flowers from the very moment you walk in. The colors were spectacular to the point we honestly didn’t know where to start!
Now, I adore anything floral, especially floral print tops and scarves, but I know very little about flowers, especially arranging them. I’m also allergic to pollen, but you won’t see me passing up an opportunity to admire their beauty! I’ll pop a Zyrtec and all will be a-okay. So, we obviously asked for help with picking out the perfect flowers for our friend.
Kimberly, one of the associates, was truly phenomenal. We mentioned only a few details about who it was for and what the occasion was. There is an art in arranging flowers. Like a painter working alongside color theory to create a masterpiece, or like a musician composing a melody that evokes emotions in a listener…Kimberly stunned us with her arrangement. She took her time with her creation. Every penny was worth it to see her unique and original composition come to life.
When we saw our friend and handed her the bouquet, we knew that we didn’t make a mistake picking A New Leaf.
After our brunch, we actually went back to get two more arrangements to bring back home to our families! Kimberly helped us once more and we left with arrangements that were just as perfect as our first.
The service that is offered is professional, elegant, and will leave the receiver speechless.
With Valentine’s Day coming up on Tuesday, I’d highly recommend A New Leaf! You can visit their locations to have an arrangement created right before your eyes, or you can place an order ahead of time for a pick up or delivery. Since we’re approaching one of the busiest holidays for the floral business, I’d highly recommend calling as soon as possible!
