Going out and exploring the winding aisles of department stores is different now with limited capacity and being sure to practice social distancing. Sometimes it’s best to just stay home. But how are you to put together a lovely bundle for a gift, or even something for yourself?

I’ve been LOVING subscription boxes this year for this reason. I try to take the time to find something that really brings a smile to my face and ends up being something practical for me, too.

Ordering Process & Delivery

Vine Oh! is a quarterly subscription box, however, once you place your order you won’t have to wait too long to receive your first box as it ships immediately. Your second box will be shipped according to the quarterly schedule.

The packaging of this box is perfect as the box is fitted percisely to protect the lifestyle goodies above the cushioned bottles of wine. I can say this is absolutely standard as today’s review is of my second Vine Oh! box.

I’m sure you’re also wondering about the prices, right? You have two options for payment. Either quarterly or annually. By choosing annually you’d receive the benefit of saving 15 USD. Due to review purposes, I ended up going with the quarterly option, which rings up to be a little over 60 USD after taxes.

Customer Service Shout-Out

I like to inform you all of all my experiences with subscription boxes. The good, the bad, and the exceptional. When I ordered my first box from Vine Oh!, I had made a very deliberate choice to only pick red wine. I personally do not enjoy white wine, so that wouldn’t be something that I would enjoy in my subscription box. As mentioned, my first box was shipped very quickly, unfortunately, the wine I received was only white.

I contacted Customer Service on Sunday and received a prompt response on Monday morning. Customer service very quickly resolved this error and had a new box sent back to me. The box I received (with the white wine) I was able to keep. It went to a loving home (my best friend enjoys white wine a lot more than I do). That same week my new box was delivered.

Outstanding! Thank you for such great service.

The Oh Ho Ho Box!

My second box was full of festive items that are perfect for this holiday season.

The items in this box vary from a cozy blanket perfect to have around me while I write my reviews all the way to a delicious treat of peppermint bark! Each box also comes with a small envelope full of product descriptions so you know which brands are being included, so you can revisit them if you’d like. While I enjoy this delightful Vine Oh! box for myself, I can see this making an outstanding Christmas gift for a friend or family member, especially those who enjoy wine.

While the cute gifts are the cherry on top, the real beauty of the box is in the wines that come with each box. I only prefer red wine and I am loving the two that I received!

As an added bonus, if you find you only prefer to receive wine, Vine Oh! now has a monthly wine subscription program. If you’d like to re-order some of the wines that you’ve previously received, you can order bottles individually, too.

Why Should You Try This Box?

As mentioned, if you enjoy wine, this may be a box you should check out. Not only for the wine but more so for the goodies the box comes with, that just so happen to be accompanied by wine. Treat it like a self-care box for yourself or even a cute gift set for that special person on your holiday or birthday. I find myself recommending subscription boxes more and more for special occasion gifts. Not only is it a nice package, but also a great way to show your loved ones what type of subscription boxes there are–perhaps they would love to stay subscribed. This simply opens many doors.

So, I don’t know about you, but I am off to enjoy some more of my Merlot.
